Is Ben and Jerry’s Halal?
Like you and me, we all know how to enjoy a cool pint of ice cream especially when watching Netflix! So we contacted Ben & Jerry’s Singapore over Instagram and here are their reply. If you are still unsure if this information is accurate, feel free to ask them on IG or even their in-house staff for more clarification.
Do take note that we had received a message from Ben & Jerry’s Singapore as of November 2020:
Unfortunately this information is now out of date, as due to stock issues, we currently have mixed packaging in trade and some flavours that previously carried the Halal Certification no longer do, although the formulation is the same.
Therefore, we are unable to currently provide a list of Halal Certified flavours, as not all stores carry the same packaging.
Ben and Jerry’s Halal certified pints:
- New York Super Fudge
- Choc Fudge Brownie
- Strawberry Cheesecake
- Vanilla
- Netflix & Chilll’d 😋

- Chunky Monkey

As their products were not manufactured locally, they do not have any MUIS Halal Certification. This is understandable as some of their products do contain alcohol and again, if you are not comfortable consuming it, please give this a pass.
